Ecoflex pre-insulated pipe offers flexible, durable, hydronic distribution for a variety of heating, cooling, hot-water and potable-water applications. The pipe consists of durable Engel-method crosslinked polyethylene (PEX) or high-density polyethylene (HDPE) tubing protected by multilayer, PEX-foam insulation and covered by a waterproof, corrugated, HDPE jacket.

Uponor offers several different pre-insulated piping products for use in hydronic heating, cooling and potable-water distribution systems: Ecoflex Thermal Single and Ecoflex Thermal Twin, which feature Uponor’s Wirsbo hePEX™ barrier tubing for use in closed-loop hydronic radiant applications; Ecoflex Potable PEX, which features Uponor AquaPEX® tubing for potable-water applications; and Ecoflex Potable HDPE, which is an economical solution for cold potable-water, cooling and low-temperature heating applications where ferrous components are protected.
